Avv. Carla Manduchi

Carla Manduchi, enrolled in the Rome Bar Association and advocate before the Higher Jurisdictions, has collaborated for 25 years, since its opening in September 1995, in the Rome office of the criminal law firm founded by Prof. Alfonso M. Stile, full time professor of criminal law at the University La Sapienza of Rome, with whom she graduated cum laude in the same year.

Working in the firm, she participated in the defense of the most important Italian trials of recent decades, gaining specific skills in the field of environmental criminal law, criminal workplace health and safety law and corporate criminal law. In addition, after achieving the three-year specialization graduation in Criminal Law and Procedure with full marks, she was for over a decade assistant in the chair of Criminal Law at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and teacher in several university courses. She’s also author of numerous publications of the most important magazines in the sector.

In 2020 she founded her own law firm, providing judicial and extrajudicial assistance with particular focus on all areas of the so-called white collar crimes.

She is a member of the Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree n. 231/01 of Italian leading companies.

She is currently coordinator of the criminal law lessons in the II level university Master in environmental law at the University La Sapienza of Rome; as well she is Lecturer of criminal law at the School of Specialization for Legal Professions at the same university. For the two-year period 2021/2022 she held the role of Director of the first level course of Ethics and techniques of the criminal lawyer at the Criminal Chamber of Rome.

Avv. Riccardo De Mauri

Riccardo De Mauri (1986) graduated cum laude in law at the University Roma Tre in Rome with a thesis on criminal law.

He began his legal practice by collaborating with the lawyer Carla Manduchi at the Studio Stile criminal law firm in Rome; the collaboration continued even after the bar admission. He has been collaborating with Manduchi Law since 2020 as an attorney at law.

In the professional field, he has always dealt with criminal law, gaining experience in all areas of economic criminal law and in the area of corporate criminal liability. Furthermore, he is a member of the Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 of Italian companies.

He also deals with legal assistance in the proceedings before the Italian Data Protection Authority.

He is lecturer in the criminal law lessons of two second level university masters at the University Sapienza of Rome. 

He works and corresponds in Italian and English.

Sara Petella (1985) graduated cum laude in law at the LUISS Guido Carli University. She works as an attorney at law and has collaborated for over ten years with Prof. Avv. Alfonso M. Stile, professor emeritus of criminal law at the University La Sapienza of Rome.

She was the winner of the national juridical prize promoted by the Silvia Sandano Association of Criminal and Criminological Studies, as well as the "Maria Rita Saulle" prize, which led to the publication of her monograph "La responsabilità da reato degli enti per gli illeciti ambientali in Italia e nel Regno Unito". She is the author of some publications in sector journals, lecturer in the criminal law lessons of the second level university master at the University La Sapienza, tutor at the School of Specialization of Legal Professions - SSPL of the same university, as well as teaching assistant at the Center Advanced Defense Studies for the military criminal law and military operations module.

She is a member of the Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 of Italian companies.
